Protection of IP rights is said to be the main incentive for inventors to create new invention. It encourages commercialization, technology transfers and promotes international trades. The Protection system of IP gives exclusive rights to IP Owners to control and exploit their IP. However, many are unaware of the importance of maintaining their rights.

 

IP rights are subject to renewal periods and fees. Please bear in mind, failure to maintain your IP may jeopardize your rights to exploit it.

 

It is your responsibility as the IP owner to meet renewal fee deadlines for your IP protection and to ensure that it does not expire.  As the owner, you are also required to keep your contact details up to date to let us reach you from time to time.
